Who I am
charlottegalbraith.co.uk is run by Charlotte Galbraith, based in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. I am the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact me about anything on this page at hello@charlottegalbraith.co.uk.
What I collect
Your email address, if you sign up to Sunday Service. I use it only to send the weekly newsletter. My lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email. The list is held by my email provider, Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which processes it on my behalf.
Basic visit statistics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not identify you personally.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. This is my legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network (for example Amazon or Awin) may set a cookie on their own website so they know I referred you. That cookie is governed by their privacy policy, and you will usually be asked for consent on their site.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. I never receive your name, address or payment details from these purchases. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
How long I keep data
Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your details. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how I use it, or receive a copy of it. Email me and I will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If I change how I use personal data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
